No, a premium account is only needed if you rent a region or mainland directly from Linden Lab.HOW DO I KNOW IF A PLOT IS AVAILABLE?
Available plots you can recognize at the land sale signs that are on the respective plots.If you are looking for available countries, you can of course also look at our website at land / region (land search).

All information you can find in about land or on the info board which you can find on our available countries.On our website under land / region (land search) all available countries with price, size and prims are listed.
IS THE LAND A RESIDENTIAL OR COMMERCIAL PROPERTY?
We have regions that are pure residential and mixed regions.Information about what is allowed on the country,
you can see in about land or you can just ask one of our staff in live chat or in our office.
AM I ALLOWED TO TERRAFORM?
Yes, terraforming is allowed on the countries of the German Land Holding.It is, however, limited to a height of max. 35 meters.
IS THERE SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP ME WITH TERRAFORMING?
Yes, we offer a free land design service for our customers.For info please contact the team of the GLH on our support page.
CAN THE GROUND TEXTURE OF MY LAND BE CHANGED?
The change of the ground texture is only possible for a half region.On smaller parcels you can change the texture with a prim or a sculpty.
Gladly an employee of the German Land Holding can help you with this.
AM I ALLOWED TO SET UP WALLS WITH PICTURE TEXTURES AROUND MY LAND?
Yes, but they should visually match to the region.Note that the walls shall not be higher than 10 meters.
AM I ALLOWED TO REZ A SKYBOX ON MY LAND?
Yes, on the lands of the German land holding skyboxes, skyplatforms etc. are allowed.These can be build beginning at a height of 1025 meters.
Please be aware that at 4096 meters no construction is possible.
CAN I CHANGE MY LAND TO MODERATE, ADULT OR GENERAL?
The classification of a region works via the estate menu,but this is only possible for a complete region and can not be easily modified for plot regions.
DO I NEED A GROUP FOR THE LAND?
No, you need not necessarily have a group on the land.But If you want to distribute rights for friends and acquaintances on your land,
you have to deed the land to a group of your choice.
HOW DO I DEED THE LAND TO A GROUP?
You can do this in about land. To do this you have two options.-right click on the ground -> about land -> general
-click on world -> about land -> general
Click here on the button "Set". Select the group. Select "deed land to a group."
Then on the button "Deed" and confirm.
Now the owner of the land should be the group and not you yourself.
CAN I LATER CHANGE THE GROUP THAT IS ON THE LAND?
Yes, you'd have to sell the land in about land to yourself again.You can do this in about land. To do this you have two options.
-right click on the ground -> about land -> general
-click on world -> about land -> general
Click on the button sell land. In step 1, please set L $ 0.
In step 2 you can sell the land to a particular person and type in your own name.
Now choose in step 3, "No, keep objects" and set the land for sale for you.
Well you now just have to buy the land and then you can deed it to another group.
CAN I GET MORE PRIMS ON MY LAND?
The prims are evenly divided between the plots.When you want more prims, you can buy more land, as long as a land is for sale on the same region.
This land then must have the same owner or the same group, so that the prims then are added from all lands together.
If the lands are next to each other on the sim, you can simply put them together as well.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO USE PRIMS OF SEVERAL PLOTS TOGETHER?
Yes, this is possible if the plots are located on the same region.If they are not next to each other, the parcels must be deeded to the same group.
Then the prims are added. If the plots are next to each other it is also possible to combine them to a large parcel
CAN I PUT PLOTS TOGETHER / DIVIDE LAND?
Yes, you can do this as followsDivide land:
1.Rightclick on the ground
2.Choose edit terrain.
3.Select the land.
4.Drag with the right mouse button a box with the size that the land is supposed to have.
5.Release the mouse button.
6.Click divide on the button in the menu.
Put land together:
1.Rightclick on the ground
2.Choose edit terrain
3.Select the land
4.Draw a box over the border of both plots
5.Release the mouse button.
6.Click in the menu on the button combine
WHERE DO I PAY MY RENT?
You can pay the rent in our office at the region german land holding.At the entrance area we have our terminals where you can pay the rent

CAN SOMEONE ELSE PAY MY RENT FOR ME?
We can add a payment partner in our system who can pay the rent for you.Please file a ticket for this under "request payment partner".
Adding the payment partner can take up to 48 hours.
AM I ALLOWED TO HEAR MY OWN MUSIC ON MY LAND?
Yes, you can add your own music - url in about land. To do this you have two options.-right click on the ground -> about land -> general
-click on world -> about land -> general
Afterwards please click on sound and add your desired music url there.
CAN FRIENDS SET A HOME POINT ON MY LAND?
Yes, the land needs to be transmitted to a group.The person who wants to put their home point on the land must be invited to the group that is on the land.
In the group the person must get a role and you must allow this role to put a home point on your land.
IS IT POSSIBLE THAT MY NEIGHBOURS CANNOT SEE ME ON MY PARCEL?
Yes, it is possible. To do this you have two options.-right click on the ground -> about land -> general
-click on world -> about land -> general
Under options you now find the point: "See residents on the land and talk to them".
Please unselect it. Now your people that are not on your land cannot longer see you on your parcel.
HOW CAN I PROTECT MY LAND FROM OTHER RESIDENTS?
Bannlines are not allowed on the land from the German Land Holding.In about land the access should show " allow public access ". In our office you can get a security orb for free. With this you can protect your land from uninvited visitors.

No, not on each plot a club is allowed. Please, if you want to make a club,contact the staff of the German Land Holding or look in our landbook whether a land for a club is available:

WHEN WILL THE PLOTS OF GERMAN LAND HOLDING RESTART?
Our plot sims are restarted every morning between 9:00 to 12:00 o'clock.We inform our tenants about the restarts in the chat of the German Land Holding.
Fully rented regions starts the tenant himself if needed.
Does he want the we restart them every day, he can feel free to contact one of our staff.
CAN I USE MEGAPRIMS?
Yes, but if they cause too many collisions and lag, we must ask you to remove them.The best is to place it on phantom, provided they are not used as the ground plate.
CAN I MOVE ON THE SIMS OF GLH?

WILL MY RENT BE TRANSFERRED TO THE NEW LAND WHEN I MOVE?
When moving from one plot to another plot or a whole sim from GLH,you get transferred the rent you already paid.
This does not include removals from a whole region to another plot or region,
please understand that in this case we cannot transfer the rent.
I HAVE LAG ON THE SIM, WHAT CAUSES THIS MAY HAVE?
There are many reasons that can cause a region lag.- Internet connection
- PC performance
- Viewer
- work on the grid (for example rolling restarts or server updates)
-scripts or objects on the sim that cause lag
You can see some information about why there is lag on the region in the sim stats.
This one opens with the following command.
Sim statistics (opened by simultaneously pressing the Ctrl, Shift, and!). The ideal values should be:
Sim fps and physical fps should be between 40-45 .
Time dilation should be between 0,99-1,0 .
The total number of active scripts should not be higher than 9000 scripts.
Only once you have evaluated all of these positions, you can say what it is. Ask us, we are happy to check the sim statistic for you.
AM I ALLOWED TO RENT OUT THE LAND TO SOMEONE ELSE?
Yes, you can rent out the land.But you are then responsible for the tenant, that he also respects the guidelines of the GLH.
